Meet the McGuires

Emily had a great time with her new buddy, Erin on Friday.   Erin and Emily are learning to share, but Em does not want to give up her paci.  Result--- Erin pulls Em's hair.  Apparently, Emily reminds Erin of her Ernie doll. LOL

Aunt Nancy- Nanny for a Week

Emily and I were blessed to have Aunt Nancy's help for a whole week while Daddy went to work.  We enjoyed each other's company while watching some favorite cooking shows.  Emily aspires to be a great cook like Aunt Nancy!

Visitors- Week 2

On Friday's Snow Day, Clare & the Girls came with yummy snacks and Katie, Michael, and Theo came with dinner!  Emily was so excited to meet her new friends...she slept the whoooole time!

On Saturday, Lauren and Ty stopped by for a little meet & greet!

Saturday afternoon, Aunt Stacy & Uncle Dave came and brought dinner!  Uncle Dave reminds Emily of Dr. Evans (Heavens).  He's so funny!  Aunt Stacy and Em planned their wardrobe together for this photo op!

Grandpa Boop weighs Em in a strawberry basket, reminding him of the good ole days at Walnut Meadow Farms.  Good news---> She's up past her birth weight.

Emily's First Family Outting

The first place Mike and I ate as a couple was Blimpie's, so it was not a surprise when we decided to make Blimpie's the first place to eat as a family.  Here's a picture of our "Blimpie's Best Footlong."

What a great combo the three of us make!

1st Visit to Dr. Evans

Emily met Dr. Evans, her pediatrician, today.  The entire family ventured out in the ice storm.  Good thing the doctor is right down the road.  Emily weighed 6lbs 10oz, so Dr. Evans encouraged us to supplement with bottle.

Happy To Be Home

We welcomed Little Emily Noel home yesterday, Monday, January 17th.  Grandpa Boop and Aunt T were there to give us lunch and ready to spoil Emily.  Mommy and Daddy are learning to adjust to the feeding and pooping schedule (aka no sleep schedule).  Granny Janny has been here to help cook, clean, and snuggle with our new bundle.  Oma has stopped by before the ice storm to give us all the necessities for lodging.  Mel, Gina, and Matt came to meet Emily...Gina taught Emily to smile and Mel gave Emily a tour of Emily's nursery.  "Thank you for all the lovin'!" says Emily.

VISITORS ARE HERE!!!

On Saturday, many friends and family stopped by to visit Easton Hospital Room 528.
4 Generations- Emily, Mike, Emily's Oma Eva, Emily's Uroma Inge

We can only hope our little Emily will follow in her Aunt Nancy's footsteps.

Uncle Dave and Aunt Helen stopped by before the Steelers game!

Jeffrey peaked in the room and caught a glimpse of Emily.  When the nurse said he could come in, Jeffrey got out his Nintendo DS.  Mike asked if he'd like to see Emily.  Jeffrey, focused on his video game, looked up briefly and said, "Nah, I already saw her" and continued his game.

Uncle Matt shares one of his favorite books with Emily.

The Millers were so happy to greet their new niece.

TA DAH!!!!

Emily Noel Bellfy made her grand entrance into the world tonight at 8:08pm weighing 7lb. 8oz. and stretching 20.5" long.  Emily was named after her Big Pop-Pop Emil Sabo.  Emily was blessed with Big Pop-Pop's hands...we're almost certain that she was practicing her wrist expander exercises in the womb.  She is very alert and loves to play with her hands.  She has many of her daddy's traits including her full head of dark hair!

Granny Janny was there from the start.  Grandma Boop was one of the first people Emily met.

On our first night together, Mommy read Emily a bedtime story "On the Night You Were Born," a gift from Aunt Val.
