Happy Valentines and 1 Month!

On February 14th, Emily turned 1 month old.  Time is going by so quickly.  Emmy spent the day cooking Daddy a yummy dinner and dessert and watching Mommy eat chocolate.

I'm growing so fast.  On February 22nd, I had my 1 month doctor appointment.  Dr. Evans said I was 10 pounds 6 ounces which puts me in the 75th percentile.  I'm also 22 inches long, putting me in the 50th percentile.  I had my first shot, which made me scream till I was blue in the face. Literally! 

 Dr. Evans wanted to know how I was doing cognitively.  I showed him what I could do.  I gave him a BIG SMILE!  Mommy and Daddy have been lucky to hear me giggle, especially when Mommy tickles my chin.  I love following Mommy and Daddy with my eyes, but I prefer staring at lights and balloons.

We celebrated Daddy Bellfy's birthday during our annual family Superbowl party.  Oma (Eva) gave Mike an outfit Uroma (Inge) made when Mike was a baby.  Looks better on Emily.  I think she'll keep it!  ;-)

First Nova Game

Emily's grandparents treated her to a first-class Villanova basketball experience.  Emily enjoyed watching her favorite team take-on West Virginia at the Wells Fargo Center with box seats and a catered luncheon!

Emily and I were blessed to have Aunt Nancy's help for a whole week while Daddy went to work.  We enjoyed each other's company while watching some favorite cooking shows.  Emily aspires to be a great cook like Aunt Nancy!

Visitors- Week 2

On Friday's Snow Day, Clare & the Girls came with yummy snacks and Katie, Michael, and Theo came with dinner!  Emily was so excited to meet her new friends...she slept the whoooole time!

On Saturday, Lauren and Ty stopped by for a little meet & greet!  

Saturday afternoon, Aunt Stacy & Uncle Dave came and brought dinner!  Uncle Dave reminds Emily of Dr. Evans (Heavens).  He's so funny!  Aunt Stacy and Em planned their wardrobe together for this photo op!

Grandpa Boop weighs Em in a strawberry basket, reminding him of the good ole days at Walnut Meadow Farms.  Good news---> She's up past her birth weight.
